Bending and Shear Behaviour of Waste Rubber Concrete-Filled FRP Tubes with External Flanges

چکیده

An innovative beam concept made from hollow FRP tube with external flanges and filled crumbed rubber concrete was investigated respect to bending shear. The performance of the rubberised-concrete-filled specimens then compared normal-concrete-filled tubes. A comparison between flanged non-flanged concrete-filled tubes also implemented. Moreover, finite element simulation conducted predict fundamental behaviour beams. results showed that filling slightly improves but significantly enhances shear properties beam. Adding 25% crumb in marginally affects when stiffness-to-FRP weight ratio a externally round is equivalent tube. consideration pair-based contact surface an infill linear modelling predicted failure loads within 15% margin difference.
